Camera Compositions

I will discussing and explaining the different camera compositions mentioned in the course syllabus. I feel as though if I explain what if have researched, will help me better understand these terms.

Framing: refers to the technique of drawing focus to the subject in the photo by blocking other parts of the image with something in the scene.

Rule of Thirds: type of composition in which an image is divided evenly into thirds, both horizontally and vertically, and the subject of the image is placed at the intersection of the dividing lines.

Depth of Field Deep Focus: a larger area in focus, as it keeps more of the image sharp and clear.

Depth of Field Shallow Focus: depending on subject and area of focus point, can blur the foreground or background of your image.

Focus Pulls: technique that enables you to switch the focus of your shot from one subject to another.
